Luminous by Liz was founded by me, Elizabeth Poulos, on the basis of helping others. True story: when I was little I wanted to become a firefighter! I went on to become a fully certified Emergency Medical Technician as well as sitting for and passing my exam for state Licensure. I then continued my education and decided to take the next step and went on to complete Paramedic school. After spending the bulk of my time in the emergency department in different hospitals I realized the career path I chose was not something I could see my self doing and enjoying for the rest of my working life. Although I did have another passion that I did not realize I could translate into a career until the end of 2021. This brought me to become a Florida Licensed Esthetician. I LOVE SKIN; I have a burning passion for skincare and skin health. I take skincare seriously and realize how important it is to keep your skin healthy and youthful. My own personal skincare regimen has helped me maintain things to my standard and I have always enjoyed helping others and giving advice on what can help with their ailments. I have suffered from Eczema since childhood; patches behind my knees, in my elbow creases, on my fingers; just about anywhere that can feel uncomfortable, I had it. At Luminous by Liz we are ready to help you show off your inner glow and help you with your skin goals. With our state of the art equipment along with other options we can keep you looking stunning for your next event, vacation, or even just helping you with your skincare regimen.
